Application to Masters of Science

1- Students detaining the nationality of a member state of the european union, the european economic area or the swiss confederation

To be able to apply for entry to CPE Lyon in year 3 or 4 (i.e. in the 1^st or 2^nd year of engineering studies) depends on your diplomas.

The students must follow the admissions procedure concerning their diplomas called : “Admissions sur Titre“:

• in Chemistry – chemical engineering (in French)
• or in Digital science (in French).

2 – Students residing in a country with the Etudes en France procedure

The “Study in France” procedure concerns students from one of the following 72 countries  :

South Africa, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Bahrain, Benin, Burma, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Ecuador, United States, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Qatar, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, United Kingdom, Russia, Rwanda, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, Chad, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam

This is an online only procedure and it must be followed in order to obtain a «student» visa also called VLS-TS (étudiant). It begins by each student creating an electronic file on the «Study in France Platform» .

This is then followed by a language test in the student’s home country if needed, an administrative inspection of the candidate’s file, authentication of the diplomas, and an interview related to the project of the student candidate via the Espace Campus France.

After your project has been approved by the SCAC (Service de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle) from your home country, CPE Lyon which adheres to the «Studying in France Agreement» then also studies the candidates’ files.

At the same time, the students must follow the admissions procedure concerning their diplomas : “Admissions sur Titre“:

• in Chemistry – chemical engineering (in French)
• or in Digital science (in French).

CPE Lyon makes their decision and the consulate service then decides whether or not to attribute a visa for these studies.

3 – Students where the « Etudes en France » procedure does not exist:

To apply for entry to CPE Lyon in year 3 or 4 (i.e. in the 1^st or 2^nd year of engineering studies) depends on your diplomas.

You must contact the school directly and consult the page concerning the “Admissions sur Titre” (admission procedure concerning your diplomas):

• in Chemistry – chemical engineering (in French)
• or in Digital science (in French).

If your application is successful, you will receive a document confirming your admission. As soon as you receive this document, you can start the process of obtaining a student visa (VLS-TS) from the French Consulate in your country of residence.
