Application to Masters of Science

For  international students wishing to come and study at CPE Lyon to obtain a diploma in "Chemistry – process engineering" or "Digital science engineer", two procedures are possible.

1 – The «Studying in France» procedure

The first procedure concerns candidates not from the European Union and resident in one of the 46 countries listed below:

Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroun, Chad, Chili, Chine, Colombia, the Comoros, Congo, Djibouti, Haiti, South Korea, Kuwait, Ivory Coast, Egypt, USA, Gabon, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam.

This is a wholly online procedure and it must be followed in order to obtain a «student» visa. It begins by each student creating an electronic file on the «Studying in France Platform» .

This is then followed by a language test, an administrative inspection of the candidate’s file, authentication of the diplomas, and an interview related to the personal project of the student candidate via the Espace Campus France.

The Cultural Service of the French Embassy (SCAC) consults the student’s electronic file and the record of the interview and gives their opinion, online, concerning the study project (favorable or not).

After receiving a favorable opinion from the SCAC, CPE Lyon which adheres to the «Studying in France Agreement» then also studies the candidates’ files.

At the same time, the students must follow the admissions procedure concerning their diplomas : “Admissions sur Titre:

CPE Lyon makes their decision and the consulate service then decides whether or not to attribute a visa for these studies.

2 – Countries where the « Studying in France » procedure does not exist:

To apply for entry to CPE Lyon in year 3 or 4 (i.e. in the 1st or 2nd year of engineering studies) depends on your diplomas.
