Joli Mois de l'Europe: In May, CPE Lyon celebrates europe
Every year, France celebrates Europe in May with a variety of events led by numerous institutions. Why May? The 9th of May is the official “Europe Day”: the anniversary of the Schuman plan for a European coal and steel community. This year, CPE Lyon has decided to join the national movement with several activities, as described below.
05/05/25 Opening of the European Agencies exhibition
From the 5th of May 2025, the main entrance of CPE Lyon will offer students and staff the opportunity to discover Europe and some of its agencies. The International Office has organised this exhibition to display and celebrate the work of these agencies.
13/05/25: How to be part of a European project? – Presentation to CPE Lyon staff
As a member of ABILITY, CPE Lyon aims to increase its involvement in European projects. This presentation will outline the opportunities available to participate in these projects. This session will focus on Erasmus+.
21/05/25: Movie night and country spotlight
CPE Lyon’s European month as decided to join forces with the Art week organised by the school’s art club. On the day of this special film screening, we will explore Romania’s history with Europe with different exhibitions.
22/05/25: Student fair: What do you know about Europe?
There will be board games about Europe, European mind maps and the opportunity to draw their idea of Europe as well as other fun sciences related facts for our future engineers to learn more about Europe. The international office will be on hand to answer questions about Europe and mobility opportunities.
28-29/05/25: Languages classes with Europe as a main topic
To celebrate the Month of Europe, the language teachers have planned to highlight European diversity and integration in their classes.
