”Since almost 20 years we are offering internships to students from CPE Lyon. Infineon is an official Partner of CPE Lyon and more than 200 CPE students completed their internship at Infineon.
Several of those former students found a job within Infineon after finishing their studies and pursue various career paths. We are convinced that the one year internship provides great value for both the students as well for us as a company.

We offer internship positions in Singapore, Munich (Germany) and Padua (Italy) and Singapore. The students work in a in a modern environment which allows them to apply the skills and knowledge gained at CPE Lyon. They support us in machine learning, chip design, radar applications, data analysis, image recognition, software development, test engineering, web programming and many other areas – like applying agile development methodology.

It is always a pleasure to see how the young talents grow in their positions and how they contribute with their ideas and solutions to our success.

Of course speaking German is a plus, but due to our international setup we are used to working in multicultural teams. Usually students integrate quickly and become a valued member of their teams. The technical expertise and experience gained in this one year is invaluable and base for building the future career opportunities.

The safety and health of all of our employees is an important topic to Infineon – this includes of course also our CPE internship positions. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 we installed home-office and switched internship positions from Singapore to Germany to guarantee the best possible internship experience – despite the challenging times.”
